Princess Eyes PQL Eye Serum
In creating a serum, the emphasis is on crafting an intensive moisturizing base that is able to penetrate the skin deeper than the average lotion or cream, taking with it any botanical extracts, anti-aging ingredients or cosmetic actives, if added.
Princess Skin PQL Eye Serum base is crafted with olive squalene. The lipid structure in olive squalene is molecularly identical to the lipids found in human skin. Additionally, olive squalene has superior skin absorption and lubricating abilities, creating a product that not only penetrates the skin effortlessly, but is light and non-greasy on the skin after application.
Evening primrose oil is also added for its high level of essential fatty acid - gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). This quality is excellent for cell repair and thus renewal at the skin’s cellular level. For glide we have added a small amount of silicone, so there is no pulling or rubbing of delicate skin, especially that around the eyes and facial skin areas that are prone to wrinkling.
This base also contains an emulsifier to bind the various ingredients to each other without the addition of waxes or sorbates which can be clogging to pores, especially those areas with very small pores like the eyes.
As with all our bases that contain water, we have included a non-paraben-based broad spectrum, water soluble preservative.
With this base you may incorporate up to 3% additional ingredients. Use EXTREME caution with choosing which ingredients you add, especially fragrances or essential oils when formulating serum for use around the eyes.
