A bit about our Teacher...
Melanie is an avid crafter who enjoys knitting, beading, pouring natural candles, and making bath and body products. Her kitchen gets more use from making bath and body products than it does from cooking! She has taught students of all ages, ranging from preschoolers to adults in a corporate setting. Melanie teaches bath and body product classes such as luscious lip balms, Tub Treats: Salts, Scrubs, Teas & Milks, Eco-Friendly Candle Making (with Soywax & Beeswax), Lotions and Creams, and Eco-Friendly Home Cleaning Products. She also recently started a blog which features her upcoming classes as well as current craft projects… Come join us and learn from one of the best teacher’s on the West Coast!

Spreading the SoapyLove to Arizona!!
I just got off the phone with Debbie Chialtas of SoapyLove!! She is a renowned M&P Expert and the best in field! She has agreed to be the Official Soapies M&P Instructor!!
Our first class with Debbie will be in January 2010…Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
If you have not seen her work, you have no idea how much talent she has and how much she is willing to teach you. If you took the M&P Class at the last Wild West SoapFest™ and liked it….you will PASS OUT at this class!!

Debbie Chialtas / Soapylove Biography ~ 9/2009
Debbie Chialtas is the owner of Soapylove Glycerin Soap Design and self taught "M&P" soap crafter. When pregnant with her son in 2004, she started experimenting with glycerin soap and discovered her creative passion. She started selling her creations online and has since turned Soapylove into a full time career. Her distinctive look combines bright colors, yummy fragrances, and dessert inspirations. Soapylove's popular soap pops can be found in shops worldwide and have been featured in several well known magazines.
Debbie also loves to teach glycerin soap crafting. Her first book, "Soapylove" was just published by North Light Books, and her eZine called "Let's Get Soapy" is published seasonally. Debbie frequently teaches at The Nova Studio and has been an instructor twice at Otion's Soapmaking Weekend Intensive. She has even partnered with Bramble Berry to create a custom line of Soapylove soap making supplies.
Debbie loves to experiment with glycerin soap and is constantly coming up with new techniques and projects. She resides in San Diego with her husband and two adorable children.
